| Job Summary: |
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Lead Retail Sales Associate.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 1. Handle the sale of all purchases in the store. 2. Perform cashier duties properly, recording the sales in the register accurately. 3. Following correct accounting procedures during opening and closing. 4. Assist whenever necessary in keeping the sales floor clean and merchandise well stocked. 5. Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, scrubbing, mopping and trash removal. 6. Assist the Store Manager and Lead with inventory control, ordering, receiving and merchandise display. 7. Maintain effective communication and cooperation with co-workers and guests. 8. Be as courteous and helpful as possible to Crater Lake National Park visitor. 9. Cross train in all aspects of the retail operations and all retail locations. 10. Perform other duties and projects, as assigned. |

In park shared dorm-style $7.50 per day, per person through payroll deduction. RV sites are also available (this is your own vehicle) with full hook ups for $35.00 per week per RV. Employee's meals are provided in the employee dining room and are paid through payroll deduction. EOE/AA |

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: 1. Able to operate a cash register, handle cash accurately, and assist in maintaining proper sales records, including understanding end of shift reports. 2. Able to stand for minimal 8-hour shift and frequently lift and carry cartons weighing up to 30 pounds. 3. Ability to reach, squat, bend, push, and pull. 4. Demonstrate a basic understanding of store procedures. 5. Able to function with flexibility and courteous behavior in a high traffic seasonal retail operation. 6. Acquire and demonstrate a basic knowledge of product information used as a part of a professional sales approach. 7. Able to work with a minimum of supervision; maintain excellent attendance and punctuality. 8. Show an awareness of inventory control through efficient management of assigned merchandise sections, with attention to pilferage protection. 9. Other projects and duties as assigned. |
