Summary:
Responsible for the day to day operations of the accounting office and supervision of accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit and payroll.
„h Essential Responsibilities:
„h Provide supervision, training and guidance for the following accounting areas: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Stovepipe Wells and Scotty¡¦s Castle Accounting.
„h Ensure coverage and job completion for any areas of accounting assigned. Coverage may be needed due to vacation, LOA, sick days, vacant position, etc.
„h Complete assigned balance sheet reconciliation in an accurate and timely manner.
„h Complete the reconciliation of inter-company property reports. Ensure payments between properties is processed timely.
„h Complete and submit all assigned monthly journal entries. Assist in the month end closing process as needed in order to meet Corporate deadlines.
„h Reconcile and complete monthly sales and use tax and quarterly lodging tax reports for Corporate deadlines.
„h Reconcile and complete monthly NPS concession fee and special account reports. Ensure payment is processed timely.
„h Complete weekly report of revenue for Corporate review.
„h Complete monthly EBITDA reconciliation of property profit and loss for Corporate review.
„h Run company profit and loss reports for departmental review. Ensure distribution is completed timely.
„h Act as a liaison between the accounting department and the Commissary to ensure paperwork and invoices are processed accurately and timely.
„h Coordinate Accounting participation in scheduled department inventories. Ensure all monthly inventory counts are reconciled to the general ledger.
„h Assist the Controller as needed with any special projects that may arise.

Qualification Standards:
„h BA degree in Accounting and two years of management experience in Accounting preferred.
„h Working knowledge of standard cash handling procedures.
„h Working knowledge of the hospitality industry.
„h General office skills including typing and ten-key by touch.
„h Computer experience with Word, Excel other Microsoft Applications.
